Dr. Miyoung Yoon provides comprehensive, patient-centered dental care with a focus on prevention, comfort, and long-term oral health. She is proud to serve families in the La Crescenta community with personalized, one-on-one care.
After completing her dental training at the University at Buffalo and her AEGD residency, Dr. Yoon has focused on building long-term relationships with patients through thoughtful, honest care.
Background & Experience
Dr. Yoon graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo, School of Dental Medicine, and completed her Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at the University at Buffalo. She has been practicing general dentistry with a strong commitment to clinical excellence and patient care.
Before relocating to La Crescenta, Dr. Yoon lived in Buffalo, New York with her family. Her move to the Crescenta Valley area came after her husband accepted a position at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL). Since then, she has been proud to serve and care for the local Foothill community.
Teaching & Professional Involvement
Dr. Yoon is passionate about dental education. She previously served as an adjunct clinical professor at the College of Dental Medicine at Western University of Health Sciences and at the University at Buffalo. She also provides selective shadowing opportunities for students interested in pursuing a career in dentistry.
She is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, San Fernando Valley Dental Society, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.

Dr. Yoon focuses on preventive and minimally invasive dentistry, helping patients preserve their natural teeth whenever possible. She believes in building strong doctor-patient relationships based on trust, clear communication, and personalized treatment planning.
