Veeners
Veneers are thin, custom-made shells crafted of tooth-colored materials designed to cover the front side of teeth. They are an option for correcting stained, chipped, decayed or crooked teeth. We provide two different types of veneers, porcelain and composite veneers.
Porcelain veneers and composite veneers serve similar aesthetic purposes in improving the appearance of teeth, yet they differ significantly in material, durability, and application. Porcelain veneers are crafted from a high-quality ceramic material that mimics the natural translucency of tooth enamel. Their resistance to staining and ability to maintain color over time make them an appealing option for individuals seeking a long-lasting solution. Additionally, porcelain veneers typically require more preparation of the natural teeth, as they are custom-made in a lab after an initial consultation and fitting.
In contrast, composite veneers are made from a tooth-colored resin that can be directly applied to the teeth in a single visit. This allows for a more conservative approach, often requiring less alteration to the existing tooth structure. While composite veneers are generally more affordable and can be easily repaired if damaged, they are also more susceptible to staining and wear over time compared to porcelain options. Ultimately, the choice between porcelain and composite veneers will depend on the individual’s priorities regarding aesthetics, budget, and desired longevity of the results.

How Does Teeth Whitening Work?
Teeth whitening is a simple process. Whitening products contain one of two tooth bleaches (hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide). These bleaches break stains into smaller pieces, which makes the color less concentrated and your teeth brighter.
Does Whitening Work on All Teeth?
No, which is why it’s important to talk to your dentist before deciding to whiten your teeth, as whiteners may not correct all types of discoloration. For example, yellow teeth will probably bleach well, brown teeth may not respond as well and teeth with gray tones may not bleach at all. Whitening will not work on caps, veneers, crowns or fillings. It also won’t be effective if your tooth discoloration is caused by medications or a tooth injury.
